Description
Cyclone is a spinnerbait to target medium to rather big size predators in the shallows. Most of the time, larger specimens have seen their fair amount of lures throughout their lives, making them somewhat picky. Well, here is something they haven’t seen before. The double ”croisssant”-shaped blades produces a vibration that is fairly different from your traditional Colorado, Willow or Indiana blades that equips 99.9% of the spinnerbaits on the market. They will also be easier on you as compared to Colorado bladed. While Cyclone is not intended to be fished very deep the blades allow you to fish it slow while keeping a good thump to them.
But the magic lays in the head. It is wide (over 1cm), with a flat bottom curved upward toward the frame. The wire comes out levelled and in line with the sole of the head. This perfectly smooth transition significantly reduces the chance of hanging onto weed and substrate. Cyclone will pass where other spinners hang. Throw it in the middle of a weed bed, in the nastiest pile of timber or crawl it slowly on the most disgusting bottom you would find fish on, nothing will stop that thing! It is an absolute AWD of a bait!
Add to this the build quality “made in PLP”, and you obtain a belter of a bait! The top loop carrying the premium grade rolling swivel is welded. Say bye to these spinners that looses their blades after just a few casts. As every PLP spinnerbait, CYCLONE is mounted using a sturdy premium grade stainless steel frame, a high quality and super resistant powder-coated paint job and an extra sharp, super strong Vanfook Ultrapoint hook. PLP baits will last you longer than any large scale production bait on the market!
