SICO Lure is named after the grand father of Baptiste Thouraud, its creator. A mark of respect, of thankfulness and unconditional love from a grand-son to the man from who he received one of the most beautiful gifts: his passion for trout fishing.
When founded, in 2017, SICO lure was designing and producing exclusively hand crafted lures, infused with the knowledge, dedication and attention to details learned over 2 generations. The result: atypical, rare and remarkably beautiful wooden lures..
The thing is, beyond their collectable values, these gems were actually catching machines! In order to satisfy the demand, decision was made to propose an evolution, accessible to the larger numbers, but by no mean compromising on efficiency and quality. The SCIO First was born.
Each and every Morpho item derives from countless designs, prototypes and real-life tests in France, mainly in the Pyrenees Today, the SICO Lure team design, test and propose products of the best quality for the most passionate anglers.
By doing so, SCIO lure slowly evolves toward the top of the best lure fishing brand ranking in France, while keeping alive the “héritage”.
Our take on Sico lure
Believe it or not, SICO Lure was the very first French brand entirely dedicated to lure fishing for trout.
The design of SCIO lures is just without compromise! Whatsoever! The strong “humpback” shape of their hardbody lure range is immediately identifiable. Beyond the originality and the great look of the lures, it is the products of years of testing and prototyping. The goal was to reproduce the action and balance of a wooden lure, in a large production scale. Quite a “tour de force”, right.
The same dedication goes in every product, from soft plastics to accessories, all the way to their rod line up.
