SICO First 40S
NEW RELEASE for 2023!!
Long awaited and now available in stores, the SICO First 40 has the same singular shape, perfect balance and tight swimming action than its bigger brothers.
Developed to answer the popular demand for a smaller version of the First, this 40mm minnow weights 2.5g. This makes it the perfect choice for smaller stream and when the flow is reduced in summer time on larger rivers.
Despite its smaller size and weight, the First 40 casts extremely well. As usual in the First “sinking” family, its perfect balance causes it to sink horizontally on the pause with a beautiful shimmy action.
The range of colours has been updated and will suit any water type and light condition.
While initially designed to target trout, this little gem will catch any medium size predatory fish like perch, bass or bream.
Available in 3 “natural” colour patterns:
– TAEC (yamame-like colour with chartreuse accents on the back: we actually call it “rainbow killer”)
– Epinoche (“Stickleback”), which also turned be a killer on redfin eaters.
– Red Minnow which represent the breeding colours of a common minnow.
And 2 “flashier” tones:
– flashy (green back, dark yellow sides with accents of orange and red)
– Shinny Trout (holographic gold with large black spots and red dots), a killer on browns in clear waters.
SICO First 53S
This Sico-lure silent hardbody lure is the product of almost 2 years of careful development and testing in France! Its singular shape provides a perfect balance and a tight yet atypical swimming action.
With a 53mm size it is the perfect all rounder, and presents a larger profile than traditional lures of the same length, while its tall flat sides allow you to fish perfectly in strong currents.
Weighting 5g it casts like a bullet and its perfect balance causes it to sink horizontally on the pause with a beautiful shimmy action.
Add to this a carefully designed range of colours and you have a must have lure to target trout, and any medium size predatory fish like perch, bass or bream.
Available in 3 “natural” colour patterns:
– mat trout (“Truite” in French)
– mat gudgeon (“goujoun mat”)
– common minnow (“Vairon”) which present a reflective silver layer on the bottom.
And 2 “flashier” tones:
– flashy (green back, dark yellow sides with accents of orange and red)
– red light (brown back bright orange belly in a stunning “brook trout”-like pattern).
SICO First 53SP.
The suspending version of the must-have Sico First is designed to be fished all year round, but will shine in the warmer months.
As its sinking brother, it is 53 mm long but is “only” 3.6g. It will dive to around 1m and sit horizontally on the pause thanks to its perfect balance, and will hold in strong currents.
Available in 3 “natural” colour patterns:
– rainbow trout (“Truite arc en ciel” in French, or Arc, in the fishing slang)
– gold (mat gold with brown stripes and a hint of red on throat)
– common minnow (“Vairon”) which present a reflective silver layer on the bottom.
And 2 “flashier” tones:
– flashy (green back, dark yellow sides with accents of orange and red)
– red light (brown back bright orange belly in a stunning “brook trout”-like pattern).
Little tip: As it suspends, you’ll be able to let it drift underneath overhanging trees and target those larger fish lurking in the shadows.

SICO Swim 155 SP
New for 2022, this medium size hard swimbait measures 155 mm in length and weights 48g. It is designed to dive up to 1.5 m.
It was designed to target pikes and large European predators with the best mix of efficiency and ease of use. Thanks to its squareish bib and soft caudal tail, it has a very natural and attractive S swim on a straight retrieve, even at very low speed. The lip also prevents the bait to snag too mush in hard structures such as wood, which makes it one of your best choice to target those medium size cod in rivers and lakes in amongst the trees and laydowns.
When twitched, the baits deflect aggressively and will suspend on the pause. Both very easy to use and multi-pupose, this bait is already a must have for all the river cod chasers out there.
Available in 4 stunning colour patterns:
– brown trout
– flashy (green back, dark red stripes, gold sides and orange belly)
– perch (green/bronze back, dark brown stripes, white belly and bright red fins)
– natural (green back, silver sides and belly, dark caudal fin)
