At PLP, EVERYTHING that can be hand made, is hand made! This includes the design of the products, the lead-free alloy used to mould the heads, the paint job to the gluing of the eyes and the tying of the skirts. This allows for perfect quality control. And, the guys are picky! Nothing exits the factory unless is has been checked and verified a countless number of times.
When they do not manufacture the parts themselves, they choose only the very best the market has to offer. For instance, all the PLP products are equipped with the finest grade hooks from Vanfook. Beyond being ridiculously sharp, these hooks don’t rust easily and are perfect for estuary and salt water fishing!
